In an interview with Times Now, Shatrughan Sinha opened up about the ongoing buzz about him not attending Sonakshi’s wedding. The actor turned politician dismissed all the speculations and said that he is extremely proud of his daughter and his happiness lies in her happiness. Confirming his presence at the wedding, Shatrughan said, “Tell me, whose life is this anyway? It is only my only daughter Sonakshi’s life, whom I am very proud of and I love her immensely. She calls me her pillar of strength. I will definitely be present at her wedding. Why shouldn’t I be and why shouldn’t I be? Her happiness is my happiness and my happiness is her happiness.”
Sonakshi has every right to choose her partner
When asked about Sonakshi’s marriage to Zaheer, Shatrughan said that his daughter has every right to choose her partner and he has no problem with it. The veteran actor said, “She has every right to choose her partner and also choose the rest of the details of her marriage. I am extremely tied up with my political work in Delhi. The fact that I am still in Mumbai shows that I am here not only in her room as her pillar of strength but also as her real shield. Sonakshi and Zaheer have to live their life together. They look great together.”

Shatrughan Sinha also hit out at those who were speculating about his absence at his daughter Sonakshi’s wedding. The veteran actor said, “Those who are coming up with fake news seem very disappointed on this happy occasion as they are spreading nothing but lies. I would like to caution them with my signature dialogue, ‘Khamosh, this has nothing to do with you. Just mind your own business.'”
